Frequently Asked Questions

We are a locally owned and operated business. We have two professional health clinics located in Regina for your convenience:

  • Our Scarth Street clinic is located right downtown outside of the Cornwall Centre on the Scarth Street walkway at 1858 Scarth Street
  • Our South Albert clinic is located right by McDonald’s and Dusyk & Barlow at 4617 Albert Street

Some countries, such as the United States (now including Hawaii), accept a rapid antigen test for entry; however, It’s always best to get the latest information for testing requirements – including the time requirement and type of test (molecular or antigen) – directly from your airline. Please be aware that if you are not vaccinated, flying within Canada will require a PCR test.

The cost for a single test is $60. If you require long-term or weekly testing for work or travel, if you are a part of a group that requires testing, or if you need testing for your business and are interested in a corporate rate, please let us know as we offer heavily discounted testing rates for tests booked in advance or purchased in bulk.

Please also note we offer a price match guarantee; if you find a better price, we’ll always match it!

We are in the final stages of preparing our mobile testing service. When it is ready, we will be able to go directly to our clients’ homes or businesses to perform on-site testing. Clients who choose this service will not have to come into our clinic for testing.

Currently we offer the COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test. This test is valid for 72 hours and allows you to attend most events, conduct business activities, go to restaurants, and travel to certain destinations, etc.

The Rapid Antigen COVID-19 test provides faster results, typically available in 15 minutes and is much more affordable than a standard PCR test. The results are valid to attend most events and to travel to certain destinations, including the US.

Please note; The rapid antigen test cannot be performed if you have COVID-19 symptoms.

Testing is quick and straightforward. First, we swab the inside of your nostrils and then apply a solution to the swab to test for COVID-19 antigens. This test allows identifying potential COVID-19 cases earlier.

If you do not have symptoms and test negative, it means you likely do not have COVID-19. You will be able to attend events by showing this test result.

If you test positive, you will need to contact Public Health to inform them of the result and book a PCR test within 48 hours. While a positive rapid antigen test does not necessarily mean that you have COVID-19, it is a hint that you might have it. That is why a full PCR test is required to confirm the result.

No, the test will not hurt. It can produce mild discomfort for a few patients in the form of a tingling sensation when the swab goes in the nostril. After the test, you may feel a need to sneeze or have watery eyes. However, it will go away quickly. We insert the swab less than 2cm into the nostrils, unlike a PCR test which goes much deeper.

It takes approximately 15 minutes to perform the test and confirm the result. From there, we complete your certified COVID-19 certificate which only takes a couple of minutes.

Your test result is valid for 72 hours. If you want to attend an event that starts 72 hours after your test result, you will need to get tested again.

We give you 2 easy options to get your test results:

  • Relax in our waiting room while we finish the test (approximately 15 minutes) and prepare the certificate in print and PDF formats
  • Leave as soon as you are swabbed and receive your certificate by email in PDF format

There are two possible results for a rapid antigen test: negative or positive.

If you test negative and do not have symptoms, it means you likely do not have COVID-19. You will be able to attend events by showing your test result.

If you test positive, you will need to contact Public Health to inform them of the result and to book a PCR test within 48 hours. While a positive rapid antigen test does not necessarily mean that you have COVID-19, it is a hint that you might have it. That is why a full PCR test is required to confirm the result.

Please note that all test results from a COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test are considered presumptive and are not a diagnosis.

Yes, you can still get tested even if you have received one or both shots of a Health Canada-approved vaccine. Being vaccinated will not affect the results of the rapid antigen test. Many countries still require proof of a negative test for entry even if you are already fully vaccinated.
